Thank you in advance for reading through this. There is a hell of a lot of cutting and pasting involved, and I am wondering if its something I can make easier via automator/applescript. Forums are great but I’m having trouble finding insights specifically for what I’m trying to do. Looking for guidance on reference manuals to understand what’s a available so that I can start to build an understanding of how to create docs with Omni Automation. The `canvas indexing thing isn’t working for me. osascript economises on Apple Event traffic and performs less sluggishly if we work with references to sets/collections of objects, batch-reading and batch-setting properties across these sets, rather than fetching and reading/mutating one object at a time. Each of the canvases are created but when I go to create the specific page format graphics, they all appear on the canvases canvas. Started to create canvas borders on each canvas for document title, info, etc. Wanted to create functions because much of the diagrams are just reiterating the same graphic several times on multiple canvases. Have been able to use the automation console to create a multi-canvas document. Canvas Size Modes: choose between Fixed, Flexible, or Infinite. NEW IN 3: - Redesigned interface to make common tasks readily available. Have somewhat antiquated programming knowledge. OmniGraffle 3 has features and functionality you won’t find anywhere else, and it behaves exactly how you’d expect an iPad and iPhone app should with multitouch gestures, Share Sheet integration, and more. A table of contents would be nice, but this button is nonexistent in OG. Most of us use OmniGraffle for making flows and documenting wireframes (documenting, not drawing, but that is another post) and our documents tend to get long, like over 50 pages. I have been able to create reasonably complex diagrams with Omnigraffle. Updated 14th of July 2012 This post is for all interaction designers out there using OmniGraffle. Please advise if there is a more appropriate place. Not sure this is the correct place for this but here goes.
